The Field is a Movement Clinic, private training and therapy space in Marylebone, Central London, unique in its emphasis on helping its clientele make permanent changes to their lifestyle. We at The Field believe that genuinely healthy lifestyle must be cultivated according to the needs of each individual, using a variety of approaches to movement, nutritional strategies and therapies.
The expert team at the Field begin by addressing the healing process, from dysfunction to function. If you are coming to us with an injury, pain or discomfort, the first step on the road to full health will often be a treatment, possibly massage, osteopathy, physiotherapy or acupuncture.
Once on the road to recovery, it’s time to hand you over to our Movement and Exercise specialist team. You could start your exercise program with one of our Classical Pilates Instructors or alternatively, one of the Field’s Personal Trainers could design for you a gentle program of corrective exercise. But your journey to health need not stop at corrective exercise and rehabilitation.
At The Field, the healthy function is prioritised over aesthetics: a well-proportioned body is the natural result of training to move in all planes. All aspects of physical fitness are addressed: from corrective exercise to joint mobility and flexibility, to endurance, muscular development, strength and power.
As well as physical training, the team at The Field pays great attention to the emotional and psychological factors that may help or hinder the clientʼs journey to enhanced wellbeing, such as the relationship between sleep, recovery and stress and how these affect the bodyʼs hormonal system. Also, nutrition is emphasized as a prime aspect for optimal health.

The expert team at the Field begin the journey back to full movement and function by raising their clientsʼ understanding of how their bodies work while paying close attention to correct alignment, posture and form.
Ultimately, we work as optimal movement coaches, restoring the natural abilities we are meant to have. We prioritise full and free joint mobility and flexibility, but always hand-in-hand with joint stability, whole-body strength and coordination. Strength is essential in order to not only meet the challenges of a full and vibrant life but to flow and adapt to them.
To that end, the Field is a space adaptable to many different kinds of movement, all with one common mission: completing the journey to optimal health so the body can function to its best capacity! The Field employs some of the UKʼs best personal trainers using methods from the worldʼs leading fitness experts, such as Charles Poliquin, Paul Chek, Joseph Pilates and Scott Sonnon. We also house one of Londonʼs best equipped Classical Pilates studios. The Field is the only venue in London to offer workshops, teaching training certification and continuing education in the ultimate system for functional health in all planes of movement, CST – Circular Strength Training and TACFIT.
