In order to thrive in the world, we require a body that moves efficiently and a mind which recharges freely.
Our approach to teaching movement is to help your body move constantly and gracefully to reach a state of flow ( active meditation through movement).
The ability to move efficiently is a hidden potential in everybody. By practising joint mobility and applying strength through all ranges of motion, it is possible to understand and feel that the entire body is connected internally through a spiral web. This feeling of connection produces energy and this energy can then be converted to effortless movement. This sense of effortlessness can then be repeated in perfect, everlasting rhythm.
As it follows the body’s ability to move from left to right (and vice-versa), the brain must switch laterally, and in the process develop the capacity to connect both of our sides.
Close attention, feeling and internal ‘listening’ enables the brain to distinguish our sides: alternating them will alter you. These are the components of awareness that are fundamental to the development of a body that is ageless, strong, mobile, fluid and healthy for longevity.
The purpose of a body is to move, and movement is medicine. Try this your self… and flow.
